A white oak room divider, an open media wall and an entry niche

White oak panels that separate two rooms while keeping them in view of each other, a dated fireplace wall opened into a modern media wall, and a last-minute entry niche in rich brown with a wood sill.

The project

The client wanted something unique to separate two rooms without closing them off. Judy designed a run of white oak panels: a divider you can see through, which gives her a space all her own.

The fireplace wall was big but dated. It was opened up into a media wall that's functional, open and modern, lit from behind. At the last minute they added an entry niche in a rich brown with a wood sill.
