The project
The homeowner found Judy the best way: they'd seen her work in a neighbour's house. The brief was to turn a plain fireplace wall into the centre of the room.
Judy used MDF shiplap for a smooth, streamlined surface, built custom cabinets on both sides, and added floating shelves lit with puck lights. Above the fireplace sits a 9′ box mantel, and the fireplace face itself was redone to match.
