Warm it Up! with Walnut

Bathroom Remodel

What do we consider when starting a bathroom project, and what do you need in your bathroom? The list is easy: layout, tile, fixtures, paint colors, and storage & accessories. How can you add character and personal elements while still making the room cozy and bringing it up to date?

We recently had clients reach out who wanted a complete overhaul of their master bathroom. The current bathroom was a classic traditional style with crown molding and the bathtub was not used very often. They also needed additional storage for organization and wanted to add a linen closet & medicine cabinet.

What did we do?

Our goal was to open up the space but still give it intimacy and warmth.

Walnut…who doesn’t love the look of walnut? That was our starting point, beautiful custom cabinetry with a traditional but updated look.

Space & Storage we got it! Large deep drawers, a new vanity with lots of little drawers, a deep inset medicine cabinet and a nice size linen closet set into an unused wall. Getting rid of that old arched window was key to adding square footage to the shower and giving the new vanity a space to live.

You can still have those gorgeous classic details without the space looking dated. We loved that our clients knew exactly what they wanted and we could focus on the impactful details.
