A family recently reached out to us because they needed to update their kitchen so badly it looked like it was from the last century. They are a family of 7 and needed a space that would accommodate everyone.
Our goal for this family was to satisfy the spouses- she wanted white, he wanted dark grey, she farmhouse, and him modern. Extend the island so that it is accommodating to all 5 kids and to allow for a good space for their daughter to bake and father to cook!
What Did We Do?
We created the island with a long peninsula to accommodate them to sit as a family and still allow space to prep to cook/bake. Tons of storage solutions including a trash pull out, secret spice storage, and divided pan storage. A double oven and mixer lift with shelf for the daughter to have a great space to bake. New cabinets, counters, sink, and backsplash to really bring the kitchen up to date!
