A family recently reached out to us because they wanted to bring their kitchen up to date along with adding some fun features for the family to use and plenty of storage and organization solutions. They wanted the kitchen to be more of a welcoming and bright place for the family to gather and spend time together making pizzas or baking cupcakes.
Our goal for this family was to counter the overall darkness and lack of organized storage spaces. Along with extending the island and adding some personality with a modern nautical theme as the inspiration, this kitchen needed a facelift and some hidden details to cater to the families everyday needs.
What Did We Do?
We extended the island and added pull out trash cans. Painted cabinets in navy & white to keep with the modern nautical inspiration, new hardware & faucet, counters, and backsplash. Added pan and pie dish storage above and cake pans and cooling racks to the side of the double wall ovens. In the butlers pantry, we removed wine storage and added a soda station, ice maker, and more storage.
We created a kitchen equipped for the baker & pizza makers in this family! Ample storage spaces were created for all the families needs, and a bright and fun room to congregate in and bake!
