With all the places Judy has lived and worked, her passion has always been her home. It’s a place to escape to, relax, and truly be yourself.

All her best memories are always based on a home: a place to call home and the feeling of comfort it creates. From painting a room and sewing draperies with her mom, helping her older sister fix up her first home, creating her space in her first apartment, and finally, buying her first house.

Judy studied Interior Design in college, at California State University at Long Beach. She was always helping friends hook up their apartments with paint, window coverings, and wallpaper.

She spent most of her career working at the May Department Stores, Barneys of New York, and Williams-Sonoma Inc.

In the transition to owning JB Custom Design, Judy decided she wanted to be the driving force behind the experience people have when transforming their home. 

Judy lives for the partnerships, the collaborations with clients, crews, and even sales representatives. 

Her unique ability is to establish relationships that surpass industry standards by being creative, giving all pertinent information, setting clear expectations, and – most importantly – executing timelines to meet deadlines.
